Stunning 8 Point deer head Taxidermy mount on a hand carved Black Forest wood plaque dated 1906, Solitude Park Switzerland. Measures 27” tall by 13” wide by 13” deep. Lovely old mount with clear eyes and fine antlers, some ear damage, good clean fur. Mounted on a hand carved dark Black Forest oak plaque featuring oak leaf branches. Has an early repair only visible in back, in excellent shape for over 100 years old. Lovely detail. Dated 1906 Solitude Park. Unusual game trophy with... a traceable history. See photos.
