Korean manufacturer iRiver was one of the first companies to offer a high-quality alternative to Apple's first generations of iPods. Their iHP-line featured many extras 'missing' on its competitor, most notably optical line-in and out.The version I'm offering here is rare. It's the very first edition in a long line of iRiver's high-capacity multimedia players, and as such sports 'only' 10GB of storage.This particular silver/gray iHP-100 was replaced relatively quickly by a more popular... model offering twice the storage capacity, the champagne-coloured iHP-120. Later, a black 40GB version was released under the 'iHP-140' moniker to relative success as well.The device has been used quite a lot so there are some usage marks and battery life has deteriorated accordingly. The original firmware was replaced with a so-called 'rockbox' alternative, offering more functionality.All original accessories (e.g. a remote control with LCD screen) are included in the equally original box, except for a standard USB-b cable.No refunds or returns.
