More Info.;Trichocereus cv. 'Gräser´s Schönste' has an 8" diameter bloom with light orange to salmon colored petals, petal edges have a touch of rose coloration, beautiful heavily ruffled and serrated petals edges, multiple overlapping petals. Stamens are dark orange to burnt orange, yellow anthers and stigma. Orange-salmon pistil. A cross of 'Gräsers Vermächtnis F1' x 'SCIGRA F2'. Hybridized by Robert Gräser.
Notes : Sturdy almost golden barrel like stem growth when young with long golden to golden brownish spines, later as growth lengthens becoming ovalish. Due to fertilizer, light and care the coloring's can vary with less rose in petal edges at times turning pinkish depending on care, weather during bud formation etc.
More info. : This is one the best Trichocereus (x Aporotrichocereus aporocandicans) cultivar hybridized by Robert Gräser. It has been obtained crossing 'Gräsers Vermächtnis F1 x SCIGRA F2 (dark red)'. “Gräsers Schönste” (litterally “Gräsers's most beautiful”) is unquestionably the most beautiful and most sought “Aporocandicans” (Aporocactus flagelliformis x Trichocereus candicans) multi hybrids. The name was given by Mr. Karl Eckert in agreement with Robert Gräsers.
