Education: Leningrad State University, Biological Faculty (1975), Faculty of Applied Mathematics (1987). Academic qualification: Ph.D of Genetics (1980), Dr. Sci of Biological Physics (1990). Qualification on medical genetics - Central Medical Institution of post-diploma education - 1981, 1992. Worked at Dept Genetics, Leningrad University, at Dept Biology, Leningrad Medical Institute of Sanitation, at Dept. Applied Mathematics and control, Leningrad University, at Scientific Research Centre for Ecological Safety. From 2003 till 2013 served at Russian State Hydrometeorological University as professor. Now he is professor of St.Petersburg Agricultural university. Worked in Latvia University (Riga), Centre of Biological Researches - Czechia. Took part in 25 international conferences including Internetional Conferences on Urban Pests, Singapore, 2005, Hungary, 2008. Member of Peter Academy of Sciences and Arts, New York Academy of Sciences. Emerity member of European Geosciences Union. Has more than 800 publications, 30 books and testbooks.
