OLD Crystal CUT GLASS TUMBLE UP Carafe/Tumbler Set BEVEL DIAMOND CUT & FAN RARE! They used these for many years next to the bed so a person could just get a drink without getting out of bed and it is STILL A GREAT IDEA! GORGEOUS RARE AND CATCHES ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW!! Consisting of a CUT crystal cut glass carafe and a matching tumbler. The motif is DEEP CUTS which resemble beveled squares pattern and fans. Both tumb...ler and carafe have a 24 point star on the bottom. The carafe has a clear neck. Carafe is sharper cut than the tumbler. The glass rim on the carafe is 1/4" thick and the base on the carafe is about 3/4" thick and the base on the tumbler is about 1/2" thick! The glass is VERY CLEAR and BEAUTIFUL! The carafe and the tumbler together in place measures 7 3/8" tall, and the carafe measures about 3 3/4" wide and 6 1/4" tall by itself. The tumbler measures a hair under 2 3/4" tall and 2 3/4" diameter at the mouth. No maker. Really great condition with no cracks and a tiny scratch in the neck about 1/4" long and not noticeable. Very little wear at all and only a few tiny scratches on the base of the carafe and I think it probably was in a china cabinet and just not used. Inside is clear with no residue.
