Anthuriums are charming with their magnificent leaves and strikingly beautiful, lasting inflorescences. Although the flowering season usually falls on the summer, anthuriums cultivated under ideal conditions can form blossoms all year round.
The anthurium andreanum have leathery leaves in arrow form. These leaves can be up to 40 cm long and 15 cm wide. The envelopes become 8 to 13 cm long and shine. As a rule, the sheaths have a hammered surface.
The prominent, fleshy petal bulb is cylindrically shaped, 6 to 8 cm long, with a slight curvature.
