For your consideration is one (1) RARE SIEMENS-HALSKE 12AX7 ECC83 LONG-PLATE GUITAR & AUDIO TUBE FROM 1957 with Single-Support 'O' Getter, 17mm Long-Gray Ribbed Plates, Clean Thick Getter Patch, Seams on Top and Copper Grid Posts. This tube was produced in the Siemens Munich Factory with Early Etched 1957 Date Codes: MC1 ≠7G.
AMP TESTED: Tested in a 30 Watt Two Ro...ck 6L6 amp head, the tube performed very well with cleans and overdrive, even with the volume/gain cranked. Speaker cab was about 5 feet from the amp. We generally don't recommend early long-plate tubes for use in guitar combo amps, especially of you are using high-gain and high volume. Low-mid volume is fine.
