For sale is a rare, vintage 1950’s, Cara Coa Instant Drink Tin. It has the old-type paper label on it and is in excellent condition. The graphics are amazing and so typical of the 1950’s. This product was manufactured by El Molina Kitchens of Alhambra, California. It measures about 5 1/4” tall and 3 1/2” wide. This tin is the 8 ounce size. There is a 79 cent price tag on the lid of the tin and it feels like the tin is about half full or more, with the original contents. This is... a very, very nice item. This product was definitely ahead of its time in its effort to “improve” the health of the consumer by limiting calories and providing alternatives for people with allergies by using carob powder instead of chocolate. Lease look at the pictures as they are part of the description. This cool item comes from a clean, non- smoking environment. Please email me with questions. Thanks for looking.
