ANTIQUE BRIDLE / HEADSTALL with BIT, BRASS TACKS, STUDS and REINS....
.... antique bridle / headstall that was decorated with brass tacks and red paint at some point during its life.... looks very old.... lots of patina.... the reins are not as old as the bridle.... many of the tacks have their bent shanks protruding on the reverse side of the leather, so I wouldn't actually put it on a horse....
.... I don't know whether this impressive item is a genuine Plains Indian artifa...ct, a movie prop or hobbyist work.... whichever is correct, it will surely make a great decoration piece....
