Ann Parker Bio
Ann Parker is a renowned British doll-maker, who founded the British Doll Association (BDA) in 1979. She had begun crafting her unique, costumed portrait-dolls in 1973, an...d quickly became a huge success in England, as well as abroad. Her stellar reputation and skill allowed her to become a Foreign Associate Member of the National Institute of American Doll Artists (NIADA).
Crafted in resin, and hand-painted, the dolls are approximately 12” in height, and feature elaborately-detailed costumes based on various periods in British history.
Ann Parker passed away in 1992, and production of her exquisite dolls ceased. Her dolls are still enjoyed by Collectors worldwide via the secondary-market.
