Haunted Vintage Olympus OM-1 35mm film Camera With 4 Lenses And Accessories OM System.
This is a great camera with many accessories. There are 4 different lenses with 3 original cases for the lenses. Also severe boxed items such as an assortment of filters and extensions. Instruction manuals and even original cleaning tissues. It has a nice leather ...strap and also all comes in a handy miniature monogrammed duffel bag. Battery compartment is clean and there is a battery inside (dead) but you can use it to find the replacement.
This would be a great camera for anyone getting into 35mm photography. I’ve been interested in photography since high school and have developed my own photos in dark rooms. I was very interested in taking spooky photos of broken gravestones in forgotten colonial cemeteries around Massachusetts. For years I used this camera as my ‘go to’ for paranormal photography (when I didn’t want to go digital) and it has never failed to produce high quality photos.
The camera was purchased years ago by my parents who seem to often come across items that have some sort of paranormal energy to them. This particular OM-1 is a very interesting piece, and while I have not specifically tried to object read it (I leave that to you) as it was my personal camera, I still wonder about it. I do get a certain feeling from the camera when I use it, and I don’t know if that is attributed to the personal use of it or some underlying spiritual presence within the camera.
The strap is inscribed, ‘Greenberg’ in what appears to be sharpie on the inside (in one of the photos) and the duffel bag reads, ‘David G’, so I assume this camera once belonged to a David Greenberg. I did a brief search of the name and did not come up with much. Perhaps a more discerning search would yield more. That is kind of up to you on this one if you are interested in the piece because it might have some sort of haunted spiritual presence.
You might just think it’s a good deal on a great camera and hey, ghosts aren’t real, are they?
