Idaho Rhodonite from a very obscure and old-time location South of New Meadows in Adams County, Idaho dug over 50 to 70 years ago! Highly stable, hard lapidary material that takes an exceptional polish and looks great considering the high contrast of beautiful, true pink on black! Extraordinarily difficult material to acquire! Locale has been known and worked since the 1940s and depleted from public acquisition over 40 years ago. Combined, all seven cabbing slabs (one end cut) weigh 5....9 ounces. Photographed wet excluding the last two pictures which shows both sides of the slabs dry. There is a very unusual green mineralization in a couple of the slabs that creates a beautiful contrast of colors; it is something I have not seen in any of this rhodonite previously. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that will minimize the potential for damage.
