This is a very nice vintage Gruen manual wind men’s watch.The Gruen codes of 325-113 on the inside back date the watch to 1931. The 17jewel, 325 caliber movement was serviced; it runs strong and keeps time. Thecase says it is 14k gold filled, reinforced with extra gold. Not quite surewhat that means (the case looks to be white gold filled, and there is a borderof yellow gold around the bezel). The dial looks nice; it has raised markers and minute indicators. There are scratches onthe... glass crystal, but not too noticeable when you are wearing the watch. The watch also has a nice vintage stainlesssteel expansion band. You could always replace that with a 14mm leather strapif you prefer.I saw an ad for what looks like the watch from the 1931 and put an image ofit in my Item Description just for your information.The case is 25mm wide not counting the crown, and 35mm longincluding the lugs.
