You really do not see the No. 252 gauge around much. It has a range of .312" and graduations of .0005" and the range per revolution is .04" so it has a more tight range for inspections. Comes with its original leather case and instructions and another sheet called a paper caliper (not sure of its use).
Sold as is, seems to be in great shape.
