I've been working here for over 18 years, and this is the first time I have ever seen a Tegam tab on what is clearly a Tektronix piece of equipment. It seems that Tegam took over TM500/5000 line in 1995. The mainframe and P.G. both have both names on it.
The Tektronix PG502 is a 250 MHz pulse generator plug-in for the TM500 system. M...ajor capabilities of this instrument included high repetition rate, narrow pulse width, fast risetime, and independent pulse top and bottom level controls. Front panel controls provide manual trigger, square wave output, and complementary pulse output for high duty factors.
Frequency: 10 Hz to 250 MHz
Period Range: <4 ns, 10 ns to 10 ms in decade steps. Variable control allows overlap on all ranges and extends period to >100 ms
Trigger In: Amplitude: Trigger threshold <1 V, reset threshold >0.1 V max input 5 V DC + peak AC. Derate to 2V P-P @ 250 MHz
Rise Time / Fall Time: <1 ns
Output: High and low levels adjustable independently in +/- 5 V range

Cosmetic Notes:
Generally in good cosmetic condition, but there are some minor scratches, and minor dents typical of use. The tab for the blank is broken.
