Thank you for being here. I hope you are having a great day. The tintype itself measures approximately 3-1/8” x 4-3/16”.It comes with a mat and preserver, but there’s no case and no cover glass. This isexactly how I found it.The top edge of the tintype has a 1” bend line (shown in thetenth photo) that is beneath a 1/4" brownish spot of residue. The topright corner has an odd circular blemish. The front woman’s chest has a minor1/2" bend line, and there are some dings and rela...ted wear to the centerarea of the right edge (shown in the eleventh photo). Her chest also has a 2mmspot of rust. There are several areas of rust and irritation to the back. There’sanother bend line to the bottom left corner.You can recognize a faint mat shadow around the edges of thetintype, so it has clearly been with this mat for quite some time. There’sscratching, dullness, spottiness and all that sort of wear as well.The preserver is badly bent up – it’s smashed, misshapen andhas a lot of waviness. The mat and preserver both have evident darkening anddiscoloration. The mat has truly ugly permanent fingerprints. The mat andpreserver both look rather bad, rough condition.Please help me out by closely reviewing the provided pics tobest judge what you are bidding on.I have more old photos from the same estate collectionlisted this week.There are no buy-it-now prices.
