This is a wonderful hand pieced, hand quilted, hand appliqued vintage quilt in the Dresden Plate pattern. It contains 20 Dresden Plate blocks with nice vintage fabrics from the 1930's or 1940's. The blocks are sewn on a white cotton. It has a thin muslin hand sewn binding in excellent condition. The backing is flannel and the cotton batting is a thin weight. The quilting is nicely done at 6 stitches per inch. There is no staining or damage to the quilt however there are 2 small areas o...f dye run (pictured). The cotton batting is a thin weight. The quilt measures 66-1/2" by 78".
