The"OFFICIAL NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE PUCK" logo that appears here is notnecessarily rare, although game pucks with this reverse logo are consideredscarce and reportedly saw limited game use. This one does not have any team logo on the other flat surface but allthe others that I have had or remember seeing, were either Viceroy slugs orCzech slugs, the latter being considering souvenir pucks, with In Glas Cocresting Viceroy pucks from 1980 to 1985. What's distinctive about this ...one is that the logo appears on an earlyIn Glas Co gamer-style slug. I've shownhow the company's name is on the side, where "OFFICIAL" and"CANADA" also appear. Possiblya prototype, with In Glas Co starting to crest its own similar slugs in 1985but using the "non-approved" NHL reverse logo with the NHLshield. I'd be very curious to know ifanyone out there has one like this; to me, this is a rare puck and worthy ofyour big-time puck collection. It's inbeauty chip-free near mint condition. .....ABOUT PAYMENT/SHIPPING: Because I’mfortunate to live close to the Canada-U.S. border, (I’m actually in Canada), Ican send off your package from either side, depending on where you live, resulting in quick delivery and no customs issues/delays.
