HELLO AND WELCOME TO OLD.VINTAGE.RETRO .....ATTENTION YZ BIRD / DUNHILL COLLECTORS!!!!On offer is an extremely rare old YZ BIRD lamp base.I believe these items date to the 1930's and were manufactured by Henry Howell & Co for Alfred Dunhill.You see quite a few ashtrays / match strikers at the antique fairs but these lamp bases are extremely hard to find.It bears the YZ stamp on the base and features the trademark nut bird with faturan beak and feet.Very good overall condition.It st...ands approx 23cm tall, the base has a diameter of approx 11.5cm.Please not it will need an electrician to re-wire it if you plan on using it as a lamp.It would make a fine addition to any YZ BIRD / DUNHILL collection.ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK.Please take a look at my other old/vintage/retro items which I will be listing, everything from lamps, clocks, jewellery, Chinese, Indian and Islamic antiques, vintage clothes, musical instruments etc.
