the very unusual curio - treasure chest is painted dark red with a walnut base and top. It does have 3 shelves inside the door, the door does have an unusual brass opener with a magnet catch. This is from a boys room who studied music.the base of the cabinet is 10" square at the bottom and 6 1/4" at the top. The boys used it it for C.D. storage.
