Original Description:
Bendix B-16 direct read magnetic compass, WWII era. It works. I have no history on this instrument other that it was obtained during an L3-B Defender build several years ago. The ID tag is missing. The graduations on the card are hard to see and the liquid level is low. The card may be dirty, the liquid may be dirty or both. No signs of external leakage and it is possible that the fluid is alcohol. Aircraft Spruce stock compass fluid.
