Vintage Tissot Seastar Automatic Mens Watch. Serviced. Integrated Bracelet. Condition is Pre-owned.Up for sale is a really nice Tissot Seastar with integrated bracelet, running a 21 jewel ETA 2571 with day and date feature. This watch has just been fully serviced on 4/18/2019 and is running perfectly. It has a brown dial and a stainlesz steel case and screw down back. It has a day/date window at the 3:00. There are a couple scratches on the dial at the 9:00 but are not that notic...able with the naked eye but they are there so i have to mention it. It has been cleaned, oiled, tested and timed. I believe this watch to be from the 1960's and is Tissots version of the Mido Oceanstar. This watch would be a great fathers day gift or a graduation gift for the vintage watch collector. I am an avid watch enthusiast and this watch is from my personal collection and was just recently serviced on April 18th by a professional watch repairman. All that being said, the date function on this watch is very tricky and you really have to take your tine and dont rush it. Below are instructions on setting this fine timepiece:
SETTING THE DATE
Pull crown out to the time setting position. Advanced the hands 24 hours to set the day and date together. Once you have set the day push the crown back to the normal position. To set the date push the crown towards the case and release until you reach the desired date. If the crown is having troubles popping out after pushing then just give it a slight pull just take your time they don't like being rushed. As an example if the date reads Fri 10 advance 24 until it reads Mon 13.
If it reads Sat 18 advance 24 hours until it reads Mon 20. Then push the crown and release until it reads the date at 13 making it Mon 13. I recommend if you use this process setting to the prior day like Sun 12 and then advancing 24 hours to Mon 13Shipping is calculated USPS First Class Mail. International bidders will pay calculated USPS First Class Mail International.Unless otherwise noted all items are free of tears, burns, defects etc.All items must be paid for immediately after the end of the auction. Thanks for looking.
