Vintage 1990's Franklin Mint 1/24 scale die-cast diecast die cast 1963 four door taxi cab car model in near mint to mint condition. Includes the original white outer box marked "B11XV59, Taxi Cab", 3-part folding styrofoam packing block box (with gloves, cleaning tool, nameplate, decals, etc.), hang tag marked "Checker Cab, 1:24 Scale" and the beautiful yellow 4-door New York City taxi car. The cab is in near mint to mint undisplayed condition. The very well-made car displays beau...tifully with many details - opening hood to show the very detailed engine, opening trunk, 4 opening doors, very detailed interior, steerable front wheels, rolling wheels, detailed undercarriage, etc.The top antenna seems a little loose
The paint and decals are very shiny and read "N. Y. C. Taxi, Checker Special, 620, $1.10 First 1/9 Mile..." and with a detailed rate schedule. The car is sold as is and as pictured with damage noted.
