RARE 5x7 Metal Contact Print Frames with ORIGINAL GLASS -- Clean and CLEAR!
Among a collection of vintage camera items I've had for many years, I found these 3 metal printing frames.
They are heavier than the traditional wood frames, solidly built, clean and in good condition.
Outside dimension is 8-1/4 x 6-1/4 x 1-1/8 inch deep.
Inside glass size is 5x7. Visible area for printing is 4-5/8 x 6-5/8.
The inside of the backs are in very good condition. Unlike... traditional felt-covered backs, they have not deteriorated.
I've cleaned the frames up with a tack cloth. There are some areas of flaking or discoloration, but nothing that affects usage.
The glass sheets are high quality, CLEAR, with little, if any hint of green tint.
I washed each one and found just a few flaws or small scratches present.
