Here is a very rare painted Mike Parks resin bust of Ray Harryhausen's beloved Ymir as seen in Charles H Schneer's production of 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957). A prime example of a production rising above the slew of the formula genre films due to one man's contribution, as the stop-motion depiction of the Ymir as he grows to mammoth size and ravages the streets of Rome remains one of the outstanding examples of screen special effects, even more amazing as it was accomplished on a r...elative shoestring. This solid resin bust measures about 9" from tip of head to base and 9" across and has the initials of the sculptor "MP" etched on the reverse as pictured. I do not have the post that the bust rests upon but there is a socket in the bottom for a post or ball joint base.
