For sale is this awesome Greek style vase or jug. It is not very large and is made of brass or bronze that is heavily corroded/oxidized. It comes with the original lid on it. It is a beautiful display piece!! I have had it on display in my personal collection. It is an incredible piece. It’s intricate pieces would have been difficult to make in ancient days. It is well crafted and looks sharp! But...
This particular piece looks to be almost too good to be true though. There are no... breaks, cracks, or holes despite all the corrosion. Their is also remarkably no dirt or sand residue on it that I see. The corrosion looks very consistent though very heavy (which makes me think it may be artificial). Authentic pieces could bring prices at $10, 000.00+!! These things make me believe that this is just a replica piece. Possibly designed for a museum or even the tourist trade. It is still an incredible display piece and would fit great in any collection! It is an incredibly high quality replica!
