Two fabulous vintage pieces! The unique pedestal serving tray and ladle were purchased in Asmara, Ethiopia -- now Eritrea -- in the early 1970s. The wooden tray stands approximately 7.25” tall with a diameter of 17”. The ladle is approximately 17.5” long with the widest section at 5”. The center of the tray is attached to the pedestal with several nails and has a rough one-inch area along the rim. The tray base features a crosshatch type of pattern. ...; These are vintage items with nicks, scuffs and rough spots. Please see photographs.
