Hello, thank you so much for looking at my digicom 100 transceiver! I know what a lot of you are thinking! Why am I selling a radio for parts or not working, for $175? I know how rare this radio is! This is the predecessor to the CPI - 300 mobile sideband CB radio that is very sought-after. This radio is much much larger than the CPI - 300, and would never fit in a Prius LOL this is a collector's item, and I am convinced that the right person could fix it up as good as new! This radio ...does power on, but the knobs are all very scratchy and the volume control has to be turned all the way to the right for the volume to work, and then it's very loud! I know there's a lot of modifications for this radio, but I do not know what modifications have or have not been done, because on some channels it shows transmit and on other channels it does not. On the channels that it will transmit on it will transmit a carrier, but when I switch over to Side Band there is no output. I do not know how the guts work on this radio, but I do know that it uses a PLL system that can be expanded for many channels. I have not opened it up or try to do anything at all with this radio, it has just been sitting in a box for years. I have finally come to the conclusion that I'm not going to be able to work on all the projects that I originally wanted to oh, so I am selling off stuff that I'm not using. Please only buy this radio if you want to fix it up, or display it. Plan on this radio needing work to operate. Thank you so much! 73
