Here's a pretty neat and unusual kerosene fired ALADDIN Economy Cooker Heater. It was made in the Middle East, probably in the 50's or early 60's. It stands just 17" tall, plus the wire bail handle. The tank is plated steel and some of the plating has flaked off. The heater body is original turquoise color porcelain in good shape with a few nicks. It has an oval mica window to view the BLUE FLAME RING that Aladdin was famous for. I fueled the heater and it burned just... fine however, the ratchet mechanism that raises and lowers the burner with the knob sticks and needs to be serviced by someone who knows about Aladdins. As shown in the picture, it burns fine but I had to blow it out to extinguish the flame because the burner won't go down with the knob. I don't think it's a big fix. The other neat thing is the heater has an actual Stove Burner on top to heat and or cook food. I've never seen another of these and I doubt they were ever imported to the US. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back. Check my Feedback.
