Vintage Gunthermann/Günthermann Tin Wind-Up CAROUSEL merry go round dating to the early 1900s. It is embossed "GESENIA" on the carousel platform. The side of the toy also is stamped GERMANY in black ink. Overall this measures 7-1/4" tall and 4-3/4" in diameter. This is an estate attic find that I am offering as-is for parts or restoration. I think that it may have had a flag on top but there is none here. Paint is flaking off. There is some de...nting. No key is with it but I was able to turn the mechanism post that a key would turn and it made the mechanism activate and turn the carousel. Please view the photos for detailed condition.
