you are bidding on an incredibly rare collectible that came out of an old-school collection we purchased 15-17 years ago from an 89-year-old man, an avid collector of the obscure and what we considered , at first , to be Bizarre collectibles from an eccentric old man.
These items, come from a transaction that is quickly approaching 20 years ago, I recall looking at some of his collectibles as Incredible, while viewing other items as strange and almost questioning his sanity for col...lecting them.
Reasonable offers are considered.
they span from wrestling to Baseball to football...to you name it.. weird and sometimes (what i then considered) stupid. In hindsight, it Has become Very clear to me that I was the stupid one. And he was a forward thinking connoisseur of the elite.
most of the listings you Have witnessed us list in the past , and will see more of them revealed in the future, come out of this “Once in a lifetime” collection.
I have come to find the things that I considered weird and Worthless to be hard to part with these days. Lol!

Stop and think, a normal numbered World Series program by Robert D Opie would be item numbered and limited to 1000 units. So, Therefore these initialed “RDO “ World Series programs are the elite of the elite. one collector on ebay speculates they were internal copies, not meant to be distributed to the public.(I agree)
I’ve noticed amongst the reprint Limited edition numbered to 1000( ie 535/1000)World Series programs that we acquired, there are a Some of these within the collection that are actually initialed RDO for Robert D. Opie!
Using the phrase “ultra rare”To describe these Already Limited Edition Reprints would be a MAJOR understatement.
***I have other Robert Opie World Series programs that are actually numbered that I will be listing In the near future, but I figured I’d start out with trying a couple of these out first.
This amazing program features many Hall of Famer’s including the one and only Joltin’ Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto, Leo Durocher & Joe Medwick, just to name a few off the top of my head!
This is really something special!
