For sale is ONE RARE Green Cheerwine Embossed Soda Bottle. It was bottled in Charlotte, NC. This is a classic 8 Sided Windowpane CW. The bottle is a 6-ounce size made by Laurens Glass Works in 1946. Bottle measures 7-3/4" tall and 2-3/16" in diameter. The bottle is in Good condition with no cracks, small chips on one ridge panel and on base. A little history: Cheerwine started with a formula bought from a traveling salesman by L.D. Peeler in 1917. After outselling one of Peeler other sodas (Mint Cola) in 1924 the company changed its name to Cheerwine.Please examine the photos carefully, I take great effort to take quality photos of all angles and a picture is worth a thousand words.
