This film is in great condition. I have notplayed it but I see nothing wrong with it so it will work fine. The title onthe film indicates it is from 1963. The photos of the bridge are samplesfrom the internet that I uploaded to show what happened to thebridge and although they are from the film, which is in color. The 1940Tacoma Narrows Bridge, the first Tacoma Narrows Bridge, was a suspension bridgein the U.S. state of Washington that spanned the Tacoma Narrows strait of PugetSound between Tacoma and the Kitsap Peninsula. It opened to traffic on July 1, 1940, and dramatically collapsed into Puget Sound on November 7 of the sameyear. At the time of its construction (and its destruction), the bridge was thethird-longest suspension bridge in the world in terms of main span length, behind the Golden Gate Bridge and the George Washington Bridge.The collapse of the bridge was recorded on film byBarney Elliott, owner of a local camera shop.
