Original Description:
A VERY RARE, EARLYand LARGE Moorcroft vase, C.1900/10. I have seen thousands of Moorcroft vases, but not this exact pattern.  Longhandsignature in green for William Moorcroft, and incised MOORCROFT BURSLEMENGLAND.11 ins /28 cms high.CONDITION:-EXCELLENT considering over 110 years old. All I can find, is a possiblerestored chip at the rim(that looks like a bit of old paint), and when I look to the underside of the base, I see asmall area of what looks like paint possibly covering a... firing fault. No otherdamage, chips cracks or restoration. The vase is in lovely condition, anddisplays perfect.
