It was struck for the "Ottoman Empire" between AH or "Anno Hegirae" or "in the year of the Hijra" 1115 until 1143, that was 1703 to 1730 AD.
The Ottomans took Tra...nscaucasian Georgia and other eastern territories away from Russia in 1723. However, they lost them again in 1730, but not to Russia.
Weight: 5.35 Gram, 24 Millimeter, Silver.

"Coins of the Ottoman Empire and the Turkish Republic" by Jem Sultan. #1885.
Where it is listed as Rare.
Obverse: Tughra: Ahmed son of Mehmed, Lord, the ever victorious, (or similar). Mint name and accession date ١١١٥ or 1115 below.
Reverse: Sultan of the two lands and Lord of the two seas, the Sultan, son of the Sultan, (or similar).
The Coin: An off center, only partially struck specimen, the dies were excellent, the execution sloppy and negligent. However, the all-important mint name is clear. The Ottomans did not strike a lot of these and they had a poor survival rate. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
