Up for bid is a very rare silkscreen poster that was collaboratively designed by the acclaimed American artists KEITH HARING & ANDY WARHOL. This poster was created in 1986 for the 20th annual Montreux Jazz Festival, which is held every year in early July. It is published by MTO, Switzerland and printed at the Albin Uldry Workshop in Bern, Switzerland on a thin woven paper. It is signed in the plate by both artists. This poster is in very good vintage condition with bright colors an...d a small amount edge wear and soft handling creases as shown. It was previously framed and the back of the sheet has minor residue of previous framer's tape at the corners. The bottom right corner (back of sheet as shown) has a small area of paper skinning from the framer's tape but is not visible from the front. It measures 39.375" x 27.5", and is guaranteed to be a vintage original silkscreen from 1986. Please note, there are several sellers on ebay who are selling modern day giclee digital prints of this poster as originals...mostly out of Germany. This poster will be carefully rolled in a sturdy 4" diameter tube for shipment via USPS Priority. All foreign shipments will be via USPS Priority International.
