Here is an original Metalplast basket for mounting inside the legshield on Series 1 and 2 Lambretta scooters. No cracks or other serious damage, but as shown in pictures, there is some rust on several of the vertical rods. Also note that this unit was originally BLUE and you can see some blue coming through on the underside photos. I don't know if the grey is paint or just oxidized blue plastic. These baskets are very hard to find these days, and this one would be a great addit...ion to someone's vintage scooter. The last pic is of the basket held up against a Series III (Serveta) legshield. As you can see, the basket it about 2" too wide for Ser. III, and will not fit correctly. Only fits Ser. 1 and Ser 2 legshields. What you see is what you get.
