I have be...en hoarding and nice old Antique and Vintage sterling silver flatware serving pieces, for the last 35 years, only saving what I thought was cool, unusual, or just pretty. It's now time to start selling it all, so nicer pieces first.
This is a very cool over the cup, tea strainer, only marked A Stowell, with alith hand engrave mono, underneath on the outside of the bowl. Pre 1920. It is solid Sterling silver, guaranteed, and was tested. I did not try, nor did I polish this, as I like to leave original patina on silver, for the buyer to decide.
It has nice large handle, and it is a big strainer, as well, with applied sterling applique on the outside of the bowl.
It measures 5 & 3/8" and it's ready to use. It is solid and weighs 50 grams!
