This well made made, substantial, vintage camera tripod is in a "Gandolfi" style.There are no major splits or cracks to the wood that I can find and the metal work appears to be complete, however, there is some surface rust in places and there are four missing pieces of wood surface wood to the central wooden 'sleeve' at the bottom.When the legs are fully extended, spread and with the adjustable head at full height; the tripod measures 135 cm (53 1/4 inches) high.The tilting tripod he...ad is in working order. The tripod has retained much of its' original ebonised colouring and has taken a lovely depth of colour and patina that only comes with age and use.
