Vintage alto saxophone SUPERTONE BANDMASTER, Elkhart Ind., maybe Conn?? Silver, plays great.. Condition is Used. Generally looks very good for a vintage saxophone. I have owned and played this sax since 1938. Time to reduce my stuff. It was re-padded several years ago and the pads are still in good shape. It was reconditioned by a repairman in 2007. Some pads re-floated, some replaced, new neck cork, some felts and corks replaced. I have pl...ayed it some since then and is still in playable condition and plays fine. Silver plate is worn off keys in some places. Body silver generally in good condition. No major dents. Bell gold plating is fair, maybe could be shined up. Original mouthpiece and lyre included. New YAMAHA 4C MOUTHPIECE with box. New ROVNER LIGATURE H. rubber with box. 1 FIBROCELL 1 1/2 reed. Many VANDOREN reeds. BOOK: "The Art of Saxophone Playing" by Larry Teal.
