DESCRIPTION
Set has never been removed from insert. Cars still banded. Box does have some issues as most of these sets do. Window has become detached from cardboard and been carefully tapped back (mostly). Some waves and creasing . Box has age spotting. The windshield on the Boss Hog Caddy is warped as many in this set are. Overall still a great set , very hard to find in any condition.

Also, please be aware that close up pictures might emphasize dust and minor imperfections that you won't see with the naked eye. Most of our items are from 30 to 50 years old and will have some degree of stress cracks, crazing, etc. Expect them. We do not highlight 'typical wear' unless we feel it is out of the norm. Additionally, wires get brittle, rubber dry rots, strings get frail. Talking mechanisms go mute. Battery operated items stop working. All our items are sold for display purposes only. We will always tell you the operability of items in our possession - but we cannot, in any way, offer any guarantees of their continued operability. This listing is for one of the scarcest, Mego produced Dukes of Hazzard sets - the Backroads Chase 2 vehicle set. Who knows why Mego got so far as to fully produce the vehicles and the full artwork box - and then remove their logo and dump the few they made in the Canadian market? The General Lee would be sold solo in the even more rare Mego Moonshine Derby Set that was sold exclusively in foreign Non-US markets/discount houses. Clearly, Mego was going all out with the licensing - including this blatant "homage" to Kenner's SSP Smash Up Derby Line. 4 AA batteries not included!

Payment Payment is due within 2 days of auction close or date of purchase - EXCEPTION: if payment is snail mailed, we request it to be mailed within 2 business days. Ebay insists on PayPal, but we have no problem with just about any other method. ( Personal cks are held up to 10-15 days to clear.) California insists we collect 9.25% sales tax for California residents - unless you can provide a valid resale number. Paypal payments - we will ONLY ship to shipping address listed on Paypal payment. Communication We do our best to answer all emails regarding active listings/sold items within one business day. Returns: No returns. Everything is sold AS-IS. Buyer is responsible for reading description and reviewing large pictures provided. The items we sell are vintage collectables so expect natural aging/wear. However, we will consider return if there was a significant oversight in listing. Please contact us for authorization. Buyers would be responsible for ALL return shipping and insurance costs. Insurance would be required and must cover the eBay final bid price. Changes of heart (ie buyer's remorse) will never be a legitimate return reason. We will not consider for return any 'sealed' item which has been open by buyer - regardless of contents.
