Vintage 1981 Mattel Clash of the Titans The Kraken Plus Action Figures . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
I know you want to say it, you know you want to say it... So say it. Unleash the Kraken! This is a golden opportunity to obtain a complete collection of MGM's 1980 Clash of the Titans action figure line up. All items are used, out of box and the packaging no longer exists. The set includes The Kraken, Pegasus, Calibos, Charon, Perseus and Thallo....r>- Pegasus has yellowing of the white plastic; however, both wings are intact and fit snuggly into the body (see pictures).
- The Kraken is in immaculate condition. There are no scuffs, paint damage, cuts or other significant damage beyond the normal wear and tear you would expect from a 39 year old plastic toy. The arms are fully possible and hold position. The tail is 100% intact free of stress cracks or warpage. The paint on the eyes, face and chest is still vivid and bright. The maker mark on the left fin is pristine and legible (see pics).
- All four action figures have the wear and tear of toys that enjoyed being played with. All four are missing their weapons and shields. Calibos is also missing his tail.
As a child, I loved these toys. They are the perfect recreation of characters from my favorite movie. As an adult, I no longer have the space to keep them. Please give these toys a good home, they deserve to be appreciated. Good luck and good bidding!
