Up for auction is a generation one Megatron that is pre-rub, unapplied stickers, and in almost mint in sealed box condition. Almost because the tape sealing the box dried up, dissolved, and released. Otherwise this would be MISB condition. The orginal owner said he received two for Christmas in 1984 and left one sealed. So it's never been transformed or removed from the styrofoam packaging. Thus the joints should be tight (I never removed to test). T...he stickers and instructions are still in the original unopened bag and still taped to the styrofoam! The box does have a little age wear (please see the pictures), but the box flaps are sharp and look freshly opened! The dissolving tape can be seen in the pictures. The back of the box does have a wrinkle across it. The owner said that happened when it was wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper and the top flap was bent down for easier wrapping.
