Up for bid is a very old Rose O'Neill bisque Kewpie doll found at a local estate sale. Found as in photos with loose arms that need to be restrung. The Kewpie measures just a hair under 6 inches to the tip of it's hair. Beautiful rosy face, belly, knees, butt and fingers. Bottom of feet marked O N'eill. The back of the head has some scratches in the bisque, looks like just in the making since they have some rosy color that makes them stand out a little, s...ee photo 5 in zoom. Also where white dots in black of eyes worn, a couple specks of black flaked, nicked off, see photo 11 in zoom. Some spots where color rubbed off underside of arms, bottom back of heels, between wings. Nothing major, just age related. Overall good condition. Beautiful early doll.
