Original Description:
For auction, a size 7 wood/wooden millinery hat brim. This mold would have been used in conjunction with a hat block by a milliner (hat maker) to manually form a hat and it's brim. Of course, back in the day when items were individually made and of high quality. This piece is marked "7" and "228" . It's roughly 16 x14 inches and weighs over 6 pounds. It's a nice piece from a bygone era. High bidder adds shipping costs.
