Beautiful chess computer, furniture quality board with an advanced computer inside. A rare item, especially in this condition.
Like new, never used (except for my test game, of course). No scratches or damage, display is clean and bright. Pieces and user manual are still sealed. (Photos are of a test game I played using pieces from another similar computer. The ones that come with this should look pretty much identical, but I want the winner to have the pleasure of opening the...m.) Played a test game and I can say it's a sweet machine! No need to press squares, because the computer uses magnets in the pieces and reed switches in the board to automatically detect piece movement. Playing it feels very natural, almost like playing a human.
This is a very strong computer with levels that can also help a beginner learn. With its ELO of approximately 2150, this computer could last someone a lifetime of chess growth, and would make an excellent sparring partner for warming up for tournaments. Furniture quality also means you can use it like a regular chess board for two humans to play, and you can use the computer to act as a "legal move" referee.
From private collection. Non-smoking home, though I do have cats (but they don't smoke either and I try to discourage them from playing chess). I simply have far too many chess items and need to let someone else play with some of them.
