This auction is for a vintage K.W. Praktica FX2 camera body with a Asahi (Japan) Takumar f2.2 55mm lens , original case and a view attachment. The view attachment is placed over the camera's viewfinder hood so that you can view straight forward instead of looking down to view. View attachment is marked Made In Germany. The camera is marked Germany. Camera is circa later 1950's.
The camera is in very good condition. It has some light wear marks from use. The bottom p...late under lens has numbers etched in by hand with some scratch marks. The viewfinder is in very good condition with some specs in the optic from age and use. Hood opens properly. Magnifier is clear and excellent condition. Leatherette is all intact. Lens is in very good condition. Optics are clear but have some faint scratches from cleaning. Focus barrel and aperture ring works. The diaphragm blades has some light oil deposits. The shutter release button, shutter curtains, shutter advance knob and film counter work. Shutter speeds work but not sure if they are accurate. They sound normal. Lens works fine.
The leather case is in good condition with some wear and a small rip on bottom of front part.
