Great painted designs on this pre-Columbian pottery tripod bowl with a sinuous red Maya motif on the interior surface and dark figures around the rim that look like alternating front and backward 3s with red dots. This piece was purchased by a college professor in the Yucatan between 1969-71. Bowl measures 11 inches in diameter and 3 inches high.
