Hard to find SP 2-rail 4-6-2 and one BRASSTRAINS one #2479 just sold for $995, plus shipping and in July a #2479 sold for $1, 183 on eBay in black as a lot of people want to buy an engine that they can have as a model or ride on in real life during weekend excursions.

HistorySouthern Pacific 4-6-2 steam engines were one of the mostpopular steam locomotives on the ESPEE. In 1941, three locomotives, 2484, 2485, and 2486 were introduced after being rebuilt with a skyline boiler, streamlining and the famous Daylight Paint Scheme. They were redesigned to pullthe San Joaquin Daylight passenger train. Eventually they were replaced withother motive power and had their streamlining removed. All three stayed inservice for many years after that. River Raisin is excited to offer thesemodels that surely will be a welcome "passenger" addition to your ESPEEstable of locomotives.
