I recently acquired many vintage live steam-engine models, of which this is just one.This is a D406 live steam traction engine in brass and black, made by Wilhelm Schroder of Germany, and branded "Wilesco".It comes with its original box which has been repaired with masking tape and has been written in. The lid of the box has the handwritten date 1986 and the box inner bears two original price stickers they show that this model sold for $270 fully 33 years ago!it will also be supplied w...ith the operating instructions and a bag of spare fiber washers for the pressure-relief valve. Do not assume that there is anything else in the box - there are only the items I mentioned here.The engine has age-related marks and has been fired, but it is precisely as you see it in the photos.
